Job Title: National Account Order Planner

The National Account Order Planner supports Company National and Key Accounts in coordinating purchase orders throughout the order management and distribution process. This position properly plans and prepares an order to ensure it is processed and executed efficiently and meets requirements agreed upon between Vendor and Customer.  The National Account Order Planner provides purchase order related communication and order status updates to the National Account Management Team and Operations Team. This role assumes the role and responsibility as the point person for value added services that require ticketing, labeling, and other materials agreed upon between Customer and Vendor.  The National Account Order Planner demonstrates necessary strong cross-functional skills that allow partnership across multiple areas of the business including operations, inventory, customer service, and sales departments.

The National Account Order Planner reports to the Director of Customer Service and works closely with the Operations, Inventory and Logistics, and Distribution Leadership Team.   

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Input and process National Account and customer purchase orders requiring value added services
  • Uphold operational and organizational excellence in an effort to protect daily and weekly order maintenance
  • Utilize Open Order and Back Order Reports to properly plan and prepare custom orders
  • Leverage ERP and Warehouse Management System for order maintenance 
  • Demonstrate ability to schedule custom order workloads to meet committed route, ship, and cancel dates
  • Coordinate workload to warehouse and see purchase order to completion
  • Evaluate value added service needs such as packaging, ticket, label, etc and order as needed to meet customer requirements
  • Ensure value added services are executed to meet order deadlines
  • Recognize, react, and resolve scheduling conflicts in meeting order deadlines and requirements
  • Communicate purchase order status update and details to National Account Manager
  • Partner with inventory and logistics team to ensure product allocation is monitored in an effort to fulfil purchase order needs
  • Facilitate product availability needs for purchase order to National Account Manager
  • Communicate aged orders and keep national account sales books clean
  • Reconcile EDI errors, important warnings, and chargeback concerns as they should arise; adjust processes to minimize penalties
  • Understand International shipping requirements and provide support as required
  • Coordinate new account setup with National Account Manager within ERP system
  • Manage vendor agreements, routing and compliance guides, and for national account files; evaluate areas of negotiation to ensure proper purchase order management 

Requirements:

The Human Resources Coordinator will support the Director of Human Resources in developing and enhancing all aspects of Mud Pie’s Human Resources Department by recruiting and onboarding new employees, formulating company-wide policies, engaging in employee outreach, administering compensation and benefits, processing payroll and other human resources functions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supporting Mud Pie’s corporate and warehouse employees with general human resources questions related to payroll, compensation, policies and benefits
  • Updating and maintaining employee and human resources records, files and databases
  • Compiling personnel reports and preparing excel spreadsheets
  • Processing payroll and tracking PTO
  • Participating in recruitment efforts, including, but not limited to, creating job postings, screening resumes and job applications, scheduling and conducting job interviews, attending university career fairs, working with outside recruiters, and drafting offer letters
  • Background check processing and follow-up
  • New Hire preparation (desk, equipment, systems and payroll set up) and first day orientation and paperwork

  • Communicating with benefits vendors and administrators regarding Mud Pie’s benefit programs

Requirements:

Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Human Resources Management or Business Management and 0-2 years of experience as an HR Assistant or Coordinator in a corporate setting. An MBA in Human Resource Management or another advanced degree is a plus. In addition to these minimum requirements, the candidate must:

  • Possess strong interpersonal skills, proven success in building professional partnerships, and comfortable working with a wide array of personalities and management styles

  • Participate in small call center setting handling incoming calls and emails from customers and sales organization
  • Learn new product lines each season to be able to promote sales and respond to inquiries

Job Title: Slotting Manager

The Slotting Manager is responsible for the Distribution Center’s (DC) productivity and throughput through the optimal slotting of inventory locations for all product movement that results in meeting business needs. The position is responsible for managing efficient slotting of warehouse product locations through proactive use of ERP and WMS to provide a more effective and efficient selector environment using Core Efficiencies and Golden Zone criteria, and meet / exceed customer satisfaction levels.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with product movement within the DC based on seasons.
  • Provide new item set up information.
  • Fix Unit of Measure (UOM) issues.
  • Monitor discontinued product.
  • Works with Operations Managers and Department Managers to improve production output and quality by slotting each line for maximum efficiency.
  • Work with Inventory Control Operations Manager to identify inventory discrepancies and take appropriate training and re-training action to improve root cause activity.
  • Works to improve production output and quality through identification of slow, in-active or discontinued products, re-locating them to improve selector environment.
  • Proactively locate promotional products or IN-OUT distributions.
  • Perform periodic analysis of product sales and determine changes to slotting placements.
  • Prepare and present reports containing detailed inventory slotting information.
  • Strong communication skills; develop and articulate (written and verbal) data/process analysis, and alternative solutions. Ability to lead others to a consensus and influence change.
  • Capable of collecting, assimilating and validating relevant business/operating information.
  • Comfortable working in a team environment, displays a customer-focused approach, seeks continuous improvement in serving internal and external customers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required in business, industrial engineering, operations analysis, logistics, supply chain or related field.
  • 4-5+ years’ experience as an distribution center manager, supervisor, industrial engineer, operations/business analyst or consultant in a Distribution Center or Fulfillment environment.
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) required, knowledge of QSSI PowerHouse is a plus.
  • Knowledge of warehouse design, material handling equipment and storage media technologies, pick methodology, slotting, and warehouse value added services (i.e., kitting and customer labeling).
  • Prior supervisory/leadership experience required.
  • Proven skills in management of projects and cross functional teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Mud Pie is currently seeking a Product Designer to join our HOME team! Our Home department includes everything from table tops, ceramics, home décor, soft goods and more. We are looking for artistic individuals with a passion for creative excellence to design and deliver quality products. The Product Designer will work collaboratively with team members to gather on trend market data, develop original design concepts that coincide with the Mud Pie aesthetic, and turn visions into end products. The ideal candidate must be creative, a team player, have keen attention to detail and proven ability to multi-task under deadline pressure.

Job Title: Business Analyst

Mud Pie is seeking a Business Analyst to join our team and serve as a key resource in business reporting, data maintenance and business process support. The Business Analyst is responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting applications to ensure Mud Pie’s business process are functioning properly.  This role is also responsible for documenting business processes and translating data into digestible information.  In addition, the Business Analyst will support multiple projects simultaneously and be responsible for monthly reporting. This individual should have strong technical knowledge base and apply those skills to support of all Mud Pie departments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot enterprise applications, including managing the support process, documenting and implementing resolution
  • Document all business processes
  • Build reports within business applications (Apprise, WMS, SQL)
  • Assist with day-to-day reporting responsibilities, including Month End reporting, Sales reporting, etc.
  • Data administration -- assist in ensuring and maintaining integrity of data throughout the organization.
  • Track and report all system changes and enhancements

Requirements:

  • 0-2 years of related experience in a business or data analyst role
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business or related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and Access
  • Experience with enterprise applications and databases (SQL, MYSQL, OracleSQL) is required
  • Experience with reporting packages such as QlikView, Cognos, and Tableau
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
