Job Title: Sales Support Coordinator

Mud Pie is seeking a Sales Support Coordinator to join our Sales team! The Sales Support Coordinator will support the external sales team, and also work directly with specialty retail stores nationwide.  Reporting to, and under the direction of the Director of Independent Channel Sales & Marketing, the Sales Support Coordinator will be responsible for day-to-day project coordination to drive the sales of Mud Pie products. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Communicate frequently with sales representatives
  • Support the sales team with new product training and Spotlight order training
  • Prepare product informational materials for Territory Managers with the launch of each season
  • Manage the gift shows and oversee ticketing for each showroom
  • Conduct meeting planning for the National Sales Team Meeting as well as other special customer previews              
  • Manage temporary trade shows from registration to booth set up, sales, and break down
  • Initiate new sales promotions and strategies to grow sales
  • Develop and oversee loyalty programs
  • Analyze and report on sales information daily/weekly
  • Travel up to 20% of time

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Prefer tradeshow and wholesale experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite

Job Title: National Account Support Associate

The National Account Support Associate supports Company National and Key Accounts in coordinating purchase orders throughout the order management and distribution process. This position properly plans and prepares an order to ensure it is processed and executed efficiently and meets requirements agreed upon between Vendor and Customer.  The National Account Support Associate provides purchase order related communication and order status updates to the National Account Management Team and Operations Team. This role assumes the role and responsibility as the point person for value added services that require ticketing, labeling, and other materials agreed upon between Customer and Vendor.  The National Account Support Associate demonstrates necessary strong cross-functional skills that allow partnership across multiple areas of the business including operations, inventory, customer service, and sales departments.

The National Account Support Associate reports to the Director of Customer Service and works closely with the Operations, Inventory and Logistics, and Distribution Leadership Team.   

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Input and process National Account and customer purchase orders requiring value added services
  • Uphold operational and organizational excellence in an effort to protect daily and weekly order maintenance
  • Utilize Open Order and Back Order Reports to properly plan and prepare custom orders
  • Leverage ERP and Warehouse Management System for order maintenance 
  • Demonstrate ability to schedule custom order workloads to meet committed route, ship, and cancel dates
  • Coordinate workload to warehouse and see purchase order to completion
  • Evaluate value added service needs such as packaging, ticket, label, etc and order as needed to meet customer requirements
  • Ensure value added services are executed to meet order deadlines
  • Recognize, react, and resolve scheduling conflicts in meeting order deadlines and requirements
  • Communicate purchase order status update and details to National Account Manager
  • Partner with inventory and logistics team to ensure product allocation is monitored in an effort to fulfil purchase order needs
  • Facilitate product availability needs for purchase order to National Account Manager
  • Communicate aged orders and keep national account sales books clean
  • Reconcile EDI errors, important warnings, and chargeback concerns as they should arise; adjust processes to minimize penalties
  • Understand International shipping requirements and provide support as required
  • Coordinate new account setup with National Account Manager within ERP system
  • Manage vendor agreements, routing and compliance guides, and for national account files; evaluate areas of negotiation to ensure proper purchase order management 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience required
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office specifically Excel and Outlook
  • Experience in ERP and/or inventory management systems
  • Project management experience in order to meet specific deadlines

Job Title: Credit Analyst

Mud Pie is currently seeking a Credit Analyst to join our rapidly growing team. The Credit Analyst is responsible for the evaluation and extension of credit to customers. They will collect receivables, monitor risk and make recommendations regarding risk reduction strategies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer accounts within assigned portfolio by engaging in phone calls and/or emails.   This includes negotiating payment arrangements as well as building relationships with customers in order to understand their needs and issues.
  • Identify problem accounts, write-offs, and related adjustments and work until resolution.
  • Work collaboratively with various departments internally to resolve issues, improve processes, and manage customer accounts in order to expedite collections from customers in assigned portfolio.
  • Collaborate closely with the business operations team on customer billing issues including: contract related questions, adjustments, pricing, disputes, returns and other miscellaneous questions.
  • Communicate with all levels of the sales team regarding delinquent accounts, invoicing and/or contract questions until resolution is achieved.
  • Utilize and interpret credit reports, financial statements and related information to determine appropriate credit limits for new and existing customers.  Analyzes, assesses and reports on risk of potential new accounts and makes recommendations to management regarding risk reduction strategies and alternative financing methodologies.
  • Maintain compliance with required internal controls and departmental procedures.
  • Assist with training and mentoring as requested by direct manager and management.

Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree in Finance/Accounting preferred or 2+ years Credit, Collections and/or A/R experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Job Title: Supply Chain AP Analyst

Mud Pie is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and collaborative individual to join our growing team.  The Supply Chain AP Analyst is responsible for all international supplier accounts payable.  This individual is the key coordinator for payments to international suppliers, reconciling of invoices and the accounts payable clearing report once shipments are received along with the coordination of payments to transportation/clearing bodies. The Supply Chain AP Analyst must have the ability to problem solve, multi-task, possess excellent follow through and communication skills. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Key and process all invoices associated with international vendors
  • Print, Key and process all invoices associated with transportation and clearing vendors
  • Compile weekly payments to vendors and hand off for approval
  • Resolve issues related payment delays and/or discrepancies with payments
  • Communicate wire details to international vendors
  • Maintain reconcile packets including all invoices that need to be paid or reconciled
  • Run AP Clearing report on a constant basis to make sure it stays clean and up to date
  • Run end of month reconcile reports and send to VP of Finance
  • Prepare weekly “Unreconciled” report and work with the Logistics Analyst to resolve anything that is not reconciled by the end of the week/month
  • Execute and keep track of charge backs to vendors as needed
  • Analyze vendor statements and resolve any invoices that are aging/unpaid

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Business Management or equivalent work experience required
  • Highly proficient knowledge and experience in ERP systems.
  • Experience in warehouse management systems and inventory processes
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication, problem solving and computer skills
  • Strong organizational skills coupled with excellent follow-up
  • Highly collaborative and able to work cross-functionally with internal partners
