Job Title: Maintenance Manager

Mud Pie is currently hiring a Facilities Manager to join our Distribution Management team. This individual will play a vital role in the distribution center and report directly to the VP of Operations. The Facilities Manager is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of Mud Pie’s equipment, conveyors, building and grounds to minimize interruptions in daily operations and ensure employee safety. We are seeking individuals to drive process improvements and have the ability to keep pace with our explosive growth. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

     Maintenance:

  • Provide equipment, conveyors, vehicles, buildings, company grounds and general maintenance service as needed.
  • Tour warehouse on a regular basis to ensure buildings and equipment are safe and ready to operate.
  • Make recommendations to senior management on programs to improve the maintenance function.
  • Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program for all equipment and facilities that will minimize disruptions in warehouse operations and ensure the maximum useful life of the equipment.
  • Monitor all materials handling equipment (MHE) maintenance activities, making sure that all equipment is serviced as required.

     Safety, Sanitation, Security:

  • Enforce established safety/housekeeping policies and procedures to minimize staff injuries, lost production time and damage to products.
  • Monitor security systems and enforce security policies and procedures adhering to all state, federal and company requirements.
  • Communicate with trash hauling and salvage companies to ensure that services are provided.
  • Operate in accordance with OSHA and other applicable standards.

     Labor Management:

  • Direct the operations of all maintenance related vendors and any staff at Mud Pie engaged in maintenance activities.
  • In collaboration with Human Resources and operations, ensure all equipment is utilized in a safe and appropriate manner. Assist operations in ensuring proper certifications are maintained by personnel for all equipment requiring them.

     Documentation / Reporting:

  • Track building and equipment repair and monitoring preventive maintenance programs.
  • Responsible for department budget and controlling expenses.

     Purchasing:

  • Purchase parts, supplies, and fuel necessary to perform required maintenance. Maintain a cost-effective parts replacement program and inventory.
  • Negotiate, follow up and enforce any maintenance contracts with outside vendors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or experience equivalent
  • 5 or more years of related industry experience
  • Experience with WMS and WCS a plus

Job Title: Production and Testing Coordinator

Mud Pie is currently hiring a Production + Testing Coordinator to join our Product Development Team. This individual will assist the Product Development Team in overseeing all aspects of production including hard goods, soft goods, apparel and accessories. Coordinate and approve all testing procedures, create and update testing standards, fabric approvals, care label approvals, tracking and organizing samples throughout entire production calendar, R&D of new fabric and techniques, overall daily support across all divisions. Position reports directly to the Women’s Fashion Director with exposure to all Mud Pie product development categories. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Organize samples and fabric quality submits
  • Maintain and manage all fabric submits in our Product Life Management system 
  • Ensure all production timelines are on track by timely approvals and follow-ups 
  • Assess and review print strike offs, lab dips, bit looms and knit downs
  • Catalog a library of fabric qualities, strike offs/lab dips, and bulk fabrics every season
  • Manage all stages of production samples and submits (PP, TOP, bulk re-orders)
  • Oversee all production and quality issues from overseas factories and manufacturers via inspection reports from our vendors throughout all stages of production 
  • Manage production trims (hangtags, main labels, barcodes)
  • Approve testing costs, procedures, and analyze testing reports once complete
  • Based on testing reports, evaluate, approve, and organize all wash/care labels 
  • Work with the Merchandiser to track inventory items, delivery orders and deadlines 
  • Support development team by preparing necessary visual tools (updating and maintaining the style wall, ordering pantones, creating seasonal color palettes) 
  • Assist each designer by category to ensure all design elements are reflected in production goods

The Email Marketing Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day execution of email marketing programs in support of retail brand objectives. This position will help build and execute highly targeted promotional and loyalty triggered emails, using responsive HTML templates. The Email Marketing Specialist maintains a current understanding of email marketing best practices and applies them to the execution of our email campaigns. In this new position you will grow our email list, identify target audiences and advanced list segments, design and execute both automated and one-time email campaigns, minimize unsubscribes, and analyze campaign performance. Job Title: Wave Manager

Mud Pie is currently seeking a Wave Manager. This role is focused on daily order volume and coordinates the efficient release of orders to satisfy customer demand and provide for effective order throughput.  Analyzes and revises production plans and provides appropriate delivery dates as required. Works with other departments to ensure orders are waved with a methodology that results in timely order processing and customer satisfaction. Analyzes and reports on actual customer order demand, trends and forecasts order waving, and adjusts capacity plans accordingly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Translate projected order forecasts, incoming volume, and work scopes into outbound production plan with a time-phased output driven by customer required date.
  • Work with customer order planner team to ensure key accounts are serviced in a timely manner and in compliance with order/routing requirements..
  • Deliver against key performance indicators of order forecast/processing. Work effectively with both ERP and WMS systems to ensure effective order prioritization.
  • Assemble master order production schedule reporting regarding performance to the production targets, the shipment plan, and the inventory plan..
  • Identify current planned level of demand and create tactical production plans to meet customer demand.  Calculate order processing lead times based on staffing levels, order mix, VAS requirements, and order required dates.
  • Manage load leveling and bottleneck scheduling and utilize theory of constraints (TOC) for more accurate scheduling/waving.
  • Analyze production floor status through input/output control reporting.
  • Coordinate information with other functional staff, including customer service, customer order planning team, and procurement/planning.
  • Understand capacity management relationship. Establish, measure, monitor, and adjust capacity levels to execute all production schedules, including B2B, B2C, Status, Show, and Customer Rep orders.
  • Determine available capacity before planned orders are released.
  • Resolve rejected orders created through the waving process in a timely manner to ensure orders do not age as a result of the rejection.

Requirements:

  • Strategic thinker, strong analytical skills, able to synthesize considerable and complex data.
  • Be capable of utilizing spreadsheet and ERP-type software in managing the planning process.
  • 3-7 years’ experience in scheduling position with extensive demonstrated success of implementing & operationalizing master schedules.

Job Title: National Account Order Planner

The National Account Order Planner supports company National and Key Accounts in coordinating purchase orders throughout the order management and distribution process. This position properly plans and prepares an order to ensure it is processed and executed efficiently and meets requirements agreed upon between Vendor and Customer.  The National Account Order Planner provides purchase order related communication and order status updates to the National Account Management Team and Operations Team. This role assumes the role and responsibility as the point person for value added services that require ticketing, labeling, and other materials agreed upon between Customer and Vendor.  The Order Planner demonstrates necessary strong cross-functional skills that allow partnership across multiple areas of the business including operations, inventory, customer service, and sales departments.

The National Account Order Planner reports to the Director of Customer Service and works closely with the Operations, Inventory and Logistics, and Distribution Leadership Team.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Input and process National Account and customer purchase orders requiring value added services
  • Uphold operational and organizational excellence in an effort to protect daily and weekly order maintenance
  • Utilize Open Order and Back Order Reports to properly plan and prepare custom orders
  • Leverage ERP and Warehouse Management System for order maintenance 
  • Demonstrate ability to schedule custom order workloads to meet committed route, ship, and cancel dates
